Happy Thursday, Ukiah Unified! Due to unused emergency make-up days, schools are closed Friday, April 15, and Monday, April 18. Classes resume on Tuesday, April 19.


Suicide Prevention 101 for Parents Suicide is the 2nd leading cause of death for children and youth ages 10-24. We want to provide information to parents on how to recognize signs of suicidal ideation and how to support children who may be experiencing emotional distress. Please register for the upcoming free webinar and Facebook Live event:  Suicide Prevention 101 for Parents: Recognizing Signs and What to Do. This free webinar will provide information about suicide prevention for parents, including warning signs for suicide, how to have a conversation with their teen, actions to take if their teen is having suicidal thoughts, and resources. The webinar is offered in English and Spanish.

TK–8 Summer Programs June 15 - July 28  Ukiah Unified is providing a fun and engaging no-cost Summer Program for elementary and middle school students for six weeks, open to all Ukiah Unified students! The summer program consists of school in the morning and the City of Ukiah’s Summer Safari Program in the afternoon. Please fill out an application for each child by Friday, April 22, 2022.

SPACE Summer Camps are free of charge for Ukiah Unified students this Summer. Spots are limited, and one camp per session for each Ukiah Unified student. Click here to view SPACE Summer Camps. Register by calling 707.462.9370 or stop by the SPACE Office at 508 W. Perkins St. in Ukiah.
