Happy Friday, Ukiah Unified! I’ve been attending some of our fantastic open houses, and it feels great to get back on campus and see everyone's smiling faces and the great work of our students and staff! It’s been another challenging year, but we’re almost through it.

ASES 2022-23 The open registration period for the 2022-2023 Elementary After School Education and Safety (ASES) Program is May 10 – 31, 2022. Students who will be in grades TK-6 are invited to apply. Students attending Pomolita or Eagle Peak apply during the first week of school in the Fall.
The only way you can receive an application for the elementary school ASES program is for you or a family representative to attend one of the four orientation meetings. If you cannot make one of these meetings, you must send a family representative. You may attend any of these meetings; you do not need to attend at the school where your child is enrolled.

Wednesday, May 11, 2022 – Calpella Elementary cafeteria – 6:00 p.m.
Monday, May 16, 2022 – Frank Zeek Elementary cafeteria – 6:00 p.m.
Tuesday, May 17, 2022 – Oak Manor Elementary cafeteria – 6:00 p.m.

Applications received after May 31st will automatically be placed on a waiting list, and families will be notified by June 30th of acceptance into the ASES program.
Free Transitional Kindergarten (TK) is Expanding California is expanding the TK program so that every child can attend a high-quality learning program when they are 4-years-old. Credentialed teachers teach this program, and it provides young learners a head start and the opportunity to learn and grow in an environment tailored to their academic and social needs. I encourage everyone with TK-age children to take advantage of this opportunity to accelerate your child’s learning. Click here to register TK–12 students for the 2022-23 School Year.
